Four days in the Masai Mara provide time to move beyond a quick introduction and explore the reserve’s wildlife-rich plains in depth. This lodge safari is designed around productive game drives and the natural rhythm of the savannah.
Search for the Big Five, watch predators at work and enjoy wide-open landscapes before returning to a comfortable lodge each evening. Seasonal migration activity can add another layer of spectacle.
Day by day
Open each day to explore the route, experiences, meals and overnight arrangements.
We pick you from the Hotel and drive through the great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Park. You will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewing Point to take photos of the historical escarpment.
Masai Mara is part of the Serengeti Vast Plains famously known for its spectacular great Wildebeest Migration and is home to big 5 : Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Buffalo and Rhino. You will have an introductory game drive on this day. This prepares you for the full day game drive the next day.
We later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
After Breakfast, you leave for a full day game drive with packed lunch.
The amazing wildlife experience continues. On the plains are large herds of Herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. Masai Mara is the heart of Kenyan tourism with large species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 birds species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is for this reason a visitor hardly misses to see the big five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino).
Your picnic lunch will be at the Mara River migration point. After your picnic lunch you will have some rest before embarking on your late afternoon game drive until late evening.
We later drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Another full day exploring the endless plains of Masai Mara. Masai Mara game reserve is a 1510sqkm wildlife area which is a small extension of the larger Serengeti national park.
The Masai mara is world renowned for its large abundance of wildlife estimated to be in excess of 3 million and the highest concentration of big predators including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, jackals and serval cats. This is one of the main reason why doing the 4 Days Safari is justified. You will wake up for an early morning game drive.
The midday meals will be at the picnic Mara River migration point. Later you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight
Early morning game drive in search of predators, especially big cats, hunting. Later come back to the lodge for breakfast then check out.
You leave for Nairobi with picnic lunch en-route to Nairobi. In Nairobi you will be dropped at your hotel or at the Airport.
