You will have an early morning breakfast at 5:30am at your hotel and you will be picked up by your company safari guide that has been assigned to lead you on this safari adventure of a life time at 6:00am, you will embark on this 7-8 hour journey covering about 430km. From here, you will continue with your journey to Queen Elizabeth Park passing through the beautiful countryside hills that have been tamed by locals who are growing bananas and other foods stuffs on the slopes of these hills.
Along the way lookout for sightings of local people engaging in their daily routines such as riding bicycles loaded with farm produces such bananas. You won’t also miss to see women carrying their children monkey style as they have them strapped in their backs. Upon your arrival to Queen Elizabeth park, you will make a brief stop at the lodge to pick your picnic lunch then drive to Mweya jetty where a relaxed boat cruise on the Kazinga channel awaits you.
This boat cruise allows you to have epic sightings of several of the wild mammals that call this park home such as Cape buffaloes, African elephants and several species of antelopes that come to this channel to have a drink. If you have a keen interest in birds, here lies your chance to spot several of the 600 species of birds that reside inside this park. At the end of this cruise, you will return to the lodge to relax for the rest of the day.
